CraftFest 2014

We have just gone through photographs taken yesterday at Castle Ward where the annual CraftFest event is taking place. The exhibition is open over three days and would be well worth taking time out of your weekend to visit the beautiful setting of Castle Ward and experience live demonstrations of excellent craftwork.

We indulged our minds yesterday and enjoyed meeting the artists. I love craft myself so this was an extra special day for me. I was so pleased I made the effort to go and would be tempted to visit again today. I wanted to add a few photos to my blog to encourage people living in Northern Ireland to visit this unique event with quality crafts to view and buy.

We will be dedicating a cube on our gallery page to show more of the people and their craftwork which we were privileged to view yesterday. Castle Ward was the perfect setting for such inspiring work to be exhibited. Recommended without doubt.

Please return to our website soon as we will have some larger photos to share. Thank you to the crafters who permitted us to keep taking photographs. We will have their details when we upload the gallery. We had a wonderful day meeting and photographing such friendly people.

Thank you for reading this today, Beverley

Update: We couldn't resist a return visit today. Dad bought me a beautiful necklace from The Glass Studio's designs by Maggie Napier. Our photo gallery on the home page will be updated over the weekend (when I recover my energy) I hope to include a photo of my little bird necklace with more photos of Maggie working when we met at Castle Ward. A wonderful experience to meet people who just love to craft. We had another day to remember and my tiredness tonight reflects just how much we enjoyed our day. Individual  photos will follow but I'm much too tired to do this tonight. Beverley and dad who is still on the go!
